The new poster campaign in the public space in Tyrol reaches people as they go about their daily lives. As part of the campaign two bus-stop talks will be held in Innsbruck. The second talk takes place on the 25th of October at 5pm. The meeting point for this talk is at the Kunstpavillon in Innsbruck.

According to the 2021 annual report of the Violence Protection Center Tyrol, 1,559 persons, of whom 1,296 were women (83.1%) and 263 men (16.9%) were counseled and supported by the Gewaltschutzzentrum Tirol as victims of domestic violence/stalking in 2021. And every third woman in Austria is affected by sexualized violence in various forms.

During the talk we will put a focus on some of the following questions: What is art in public space all about? What images and messages are we confronted with? What do the posters trigger in us? And how can we talk about violence against women? We also invite you to bring your own questions and reflections on the topic.

So for the people in the region of Innsbruck, come by to participate!
