#somethingiswrong at Stand 129 in Vienna

In the framework of International Women’s Day Lungomare will present, on the 6th of March at 19.00, the #somethingiswrong (#etwasläuftfalsch / #qualcosanonva) campaign at Stand 129 in Vienna. During the opening the curators will talk with artist Aldo Giannotti as well as with representatives of the initiative StoP (Stadtteile ohne Partnergewalt) and the association poika.
#somethingiswrong is an artistic-activist poster campaign by Lungomare that addresses violent crimes against women. The posters by the three artists Aldo Giannotti, Stefanie Sargnagel and Kateřina Šedá deal with different aspects of gender-based violence. The posters will be on display at Stand 129 until March 24.

Stand 129 is an art and culture space that offers space for new encounters and creates new approaches to contemporary art. Under the motto “Art for everyone”, art is created not only for, but with people in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Viktor-Adler-Markt.
